10 Free Classic eBooks for Weekend Reading

twelve-years-a-slave-d36686There are plenty of sources of free eBooks online, but one of our new favorites is ePubBooks. Created by Michael Cook, the site has developed a wonderful collection of DRM-free literature that will keep most readers busy. Below, we’ve gathered just a few titles that caught our eyes. Be sure to check out ePubBooks for more great classics:

Titles published directly by epubBooks are mostly classic fiction, dating from the mid 20th century all the way back to Ancient Greece. These includeclassics such as The Adventures of Sherlock HolmesPride and Prejudice and Alice in Wonderland. We’re fortunate that all these books are in the Public Domain, so can be released and downloaded completely free of charge. On top of this all the ebooks are released without DRM (Digital Rights Management) copy protection.
