Google’s Chromecast just added 10 more apps, which more than doubles its existing numbers.
The new apps are: Vevo, Red Bull.TV, Songza, The Washington Post’s PostTV, Viki, Revision3, BeyondPod, Plex, Avia and RealPlayer Cloud.
You’ll find web-based TV under Revision3, music videos under Vevo, sports and other entertainment under Red Bull.TV and music under Songza. BeyondPod is a podcast manager, and Viki is a Singapore-based TV app. Plex, Avia and RealPlayer Cloud let users organize and share various personal media. PostTV rounds out the mix with a news focus, rather than entertainment.
Google said the new additions will roll out in the next few days.
HBO Go was added to Chromecast just last month as Google works to build out its streaming option.
