Photobucket felt the sting of layoffs Thursday, as parent Fox Interactive Media cut 35 of its staff of 120, BoomTown reported.
Sources told BoomTown FIM laid off a total of 75 people, but the photo- and video-hosting service was the hardest-hit.
“As part of our continuing review of each of the FIM business units, employees were informed of job cuts today at several of our sites,” an FIM spokesperson told BoomTown. “We made these cuts to ensure that our resources are aligned properly with our business goals, and at a scale that will enable us to operate as efficiently as possible.”
