$7.5M for 5min

5min, a portal for instructional, knowledge and lifestyle videos, both professionally produced and user-generated, raised an additional $7.5 million in funding in a round led by Globespan Capital Partners and joined by previous investor Spark Capital, TechCrunch reported.

The latest round boosts the total capital raised by 5min to $12.8 million, according to TechCrunch.

The site’s video library features thousands of videos covering several categories.
