Hips don’t lie, and neither do stats from Ustream: The debut of “Give It Up to Me,” the latest music video from Shakira, on Facebook via Ustream live streaming attracted 95,000 unique viewers during its initial broadcast, and the video was viewed more than 500,000 times over its first 24 hours, TechCrunch reported.
The totals for the Shakira video paled in comparison with the 4.6 million total streams for Michael Jackson‘s memorial service and the 3.8 million for the inauguration of President Barack Obama, but TechCrunch pointed out that those two events lasted for hours, while “Give It Up to Me” was 10 minutes.
