With all these new portable GPS systems and mobile mapping applications, it’s getting pretty hard to use the excuse of getting lost when you show up late somewhere.
This week AAA made it even more difficult, with the launch of AAA Mobile for the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition and Pearl 8130.
Powered by the Networks In Motion location-based services platform, AAA Mobile provides visual and audio directions to any travel destination in the US and locates AAA Approved points of interest such as hotels and restaurants. AAA members having car troubles can hit a single button on the BlackBerry to send their GPS location to AAA and get in touch with a AAA roadside services representative.
AAA Mobile is available to AAA members and non-members alike for $9.99 a month.
