AccuWeather.com to Feature in Opera Mini Browser

MediaPost reports that AccuWeather.com has joined with Opera Software to offer a direct link from the Opera Mini start page to AccuWeather.com’s mobile Web site:

“The Opera Mini home page offers a link directly to AccuWeather.com [and] offers free, ad-supported content such as radar and satellite images and local 10-day forecasts and current conditions.”

This author reviewed several versions of Opera Mini over the years for PC Magazine and always found it to be a powerful browser that works on many phones, including regular feature phones. The MediaPost article said that Opera Mini has more than 35 million cumulative users to date.
