Because I use a Nexus One that runs Android, I am always looking for new apps or better ways to use my phone. One of the reasons why I wrote last week about the battery drain problems I have been experiencing is so that others could benefit from my experience and perhaps pick up a few tips for useful apps like the Battery Left widget and the Network Monitor app. Today I want to point you to an article written by James Kendrick titled “5 Tips to Make Android Phones Better” in which I learned about the Multicon Widget. The Multicon Widget provides a way to add more app icons and short cuts on the Android home screen by shrinking app icons, eliminating the icon text, and placing them on a grid.
