peperonity_admob.gifAdMob keeps growing its mobile advertising marketplace and the number of publishers using the service.

So far this year, AdMob has added a number of new publisher partners, including Flirtomatic, MADS, peperonity.com, Taptu and WYAN, to its roster, which includes more than 6,000 mobile Web sites and 700 iPhone and Android apps.

In January, worldwide requests across the AdMob network topped 6.8 billion, led by strong growth in Western Europe and Asia, the company said.

“The combination of explosive growth in consumer usage of mobile Web sites and applications and AdMob’s recent product advancements – from new French, Spanish, and German language interfaces, to iPhone download tracking and ad units for Android applications – has played a significant role in the enormous growth we’re seeing in our network worldwide,” Thomas Schulz, AdMob VP and managing director, said in a statement.
