A Russian court found the former boss of music download Web site www.allofmp3.com not guilty of breaching copyright on Wednesday in a case considered a crucial test of Russia’s commitment to fighting piracy, Reuters is reporting.
The lawsuit concerned allofmp3.com’s extremely low prices; Western music labels claimed that the site was violating copyright law by undercutting prices in the West.
The site is still gone for good, though another one by the same owner – mp3sparks.com – has sprung up in its place.
