Alltel Launches Football Giveaway

Alltel Wireless just announced its new “My Circle Gridiron Getaway” sweepstakes. It’s a text-to-win promotion that gives fans the chance to win a trip with their Alltel Circle of Friends to any regular season college or pro football game of their choosing.

“Five grand prize winners will be chosen among the entries to jet-set to the regular season game for the ultimate VIP experience. One of the winners will also receive a special tailgate experience with pro football legend Barry Sanders.”

Alltel was recently scooped up by Verizon for the princely sum of $28 billion, creating the country’s largest cell phone carrier in the process.
