Alltel Launches ‘Perky’ Mobile Content App

Alltel Wireless has announced a new mobile content deal for its subscribers: customers of Alltel Wireless can now receive customized content, including sports scores, weather, discounts, and trivia directly on their handset with the company’s new Alltel Perks service, according to the News Market.

The company said in a statement that delivered messages are maintained in the “Recent Offer Menu” folder for a short period of time. Subscribers can download the app from the Alltel Shop; the app delivers the content whenever the handset is not currently in use.
