Alltel Wireless today announced that it is the first wireless carrier to offer its customers access to Melodeo’s nuTsie, a mobile music service that lets users listen to their iTunes playlists without having to copy them to their phones. The service also lets users share those lists (if not the actual songs) with friends across the Internet and on their mobile devices, as well as browse thousands of playlists from other users and nuTsie music experts.

Alltel lists 10 separate handsets that support the service, with more on the way. Current handsets include the MOTORAZR V3m and V3c, MOTOKRZR K1m, MOTORAZR2 V9m, MOTOROKR Z6m, LG AX565, Wave by LG, LG AX8600, Samsung Muse, Alltel Hue by Samsung, and the Wafer by Samsung. The service costs $19.99 for one year, or $4.99 per month, and can be accessed via the Alltel Shop link on each handset.
