Amazon MP3 Offers Daily $1.99 MP3 Albums

Amazon.com just announced two new offerings, “Daily Deals” and “Friday Five,” for their DRM-free MP3 online music store.

“Daily Deals” is updated daily and offers a popular album at a significantly discounted price, while “Friday Five” offers five great albums for $5 every Friday and through the weekend, the company said in a statement. First up is Coldplay’s new album, “Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends” for $8.99, with their catalog hits “X&Y”, “a Rush of Blood to the Head” and “Parachutes” as this week’s Daily Deals for just $1.99 each.

The Amazon MP3 store currently offers over 5.4 million DRM-free MP3 tracks that will play on just about any recent gadget—cell phone, iPod, iPhone, car stereo, portable GPS unit, or other MP3-compatible music player. Check out the new deals at www.amazon.com/mp3deals.
