Amazon Will Now Let You Login & Pay With Amazon on Other Sites

Screen Shot 2013-10-08 at 1.57.35 PMYou can sign into a lot of websites with your Facebook account. Now Amazon wants to let you pay for your online shopping transactions by logging into your Amazon account on an e-commerce website. Amazon’s new Login and Pay with Amazon tool lets participating companies give customers the ability to buy using their Amazon account, and not have to sign up for a new customer account.

This feature has already been available on Amazon owned sites such as Zappos.com. But now Amazon is working with competitors. Build.com, a retailer that sells tools for home improvement, is a new partner.

“Amazon has more than 215 million active customer accounts,” stated Tom Taylor, Vice President of Amazon Payments. “Login and Pay withAmazon enables companies to make millions of our customers their customers by inviting online shoppers with Amazon credentials to access their account information safely and securely with a single login.”

Retailers that are interested in adding this service to their sites should follow this link.
