Android 1.6 SDK is here

Here’s what’s new in 1.6 based on their video overview (I’ll save you 2 minutes and 38 seconds of viewing …

- Supports displays at different screen resolutions, orientations, and sizes
- Supports both CDMA and GSM voice technologies (I thought it already did that?)
- Provides a quick search box on the home screen with suggested results while a person is typing
- Google search from speech of on-device information (e.g., contacts)
- Text-to-Speech API, multi-lingual speech engine
- Improved app market with screen shots and user reviews
