Take That TSA! Top 10 Funniest Anti-TSA Videos On YouTube

With so many people flying to visit friends and family this holiday season, the tension is rising between travelers and the TSA. Outrage at the TSA’s use of full body scanners and objectionable patdowns have spawned an outcry, and there has been no better platform for anti-TSA sentiment than YouTube. Videos are being uploaded to YouTube in droves, putting the TSA in their place. From travelers to foreign countries, everyone’s got something to say about the new TSA safety procedures. Here are our picks for the top 10 anti-TSA videos on YouTube.

Before we get to our list, it should be noted that there have been a ton of videos uploaded to YouTube by travelers that have felt violated by he TSA. A disabled boy was forced to remove his leg braces to walk through security, a breast cancer survivor was forced to show her prosthetic breast, and the list goes on and on. However, for the purposes of this list we wanted to focus on the videos that lash out at the TSA (mostly in a humorous way), rather than document how the TSA has lashed out at travelers.

TSA’s enhanced security spurs US ‘airport rage’

Not familiar with what’s going on with the TSA, body scanners and privacy? Check out this Taiwanese animation that explains it all. The video has been viewed a whopping 1.5 million times since it was uploaded in mid-November.

A Message From Transport Canada

Even our quiet neighbors to the North took the opportunity to poke some fun at TSA and the United States in this ‘Message From Transport Canada’.

YouTube Funny Japanese Airport Security

This Japanese comedy sketch is from back in February. However, it really started going viral over the past few weeks as TSA and privacy issues have become more and more of an issue.

Help You Make It To Your Flight – Buck Howdy

Buck Howdy pokes back at the TSA with this tongue-in-cheek song about the inappropriate new search procedures in airports across the United States. Over 1.6 million people have watched this video so far.

TSA invades House Party

The TSA is bad enough at the airport, but can you imagine what it would be like if they were around in your everyday life? In this hilarious video, the TSA invades a house party to search a guy who doesn’t want to play Kinect because he doesn’t want it to take embarrassing pictures of him in a public place. He’s “opting out” from playing Kinect and the TSA isn’t having it.

Corinne Theile

Corinne Theile protested against the new TSA regulations by going through security at LAX in her bikini. Check it out in the videos below.

TSA Speedo Protester

Corinne isn’t the only traveler to go through security in her bathing suit. A college student named Jimmy also went through security in a Speedo with ‘SCREW BIG SIS’ written on the butt. Would you go through airport security in a Speedo?

Tammy Banovac

The story of Tammy Banovac is a little more shocking and strange. The 52-year old, wheelchair bound Oklahoma resident stripped down to avoid an invasive security search. Upon her first trip through airport security she was turned away because nitrates were found in her wheelchair. She returned the next day, again in her underwear and nitrate-free and made it through security.

The video has been viewed over 2 million times since it was uploaded just over a week ago. The huge popularity of the video could have to do with the injustice this handicapped woman has seen from the TSA, but is more likely to be because of the YouTube comments in the image below the video.

SNL TSA Commercial

If the new TSA procedures are being spoofed in Canada and even Taiwan and Japan then of course Saturday Night Live has a comment on the matter. Check out their TSA commercial spot, reminiscent of a 2am phone sex commercial.

Adam Savage says, “WTF, TSA?”

This clip of Mythbusters’ Adam Savage was uploaded to YouTube back in May, but has gone viral in recent weeks as more and more people have become enraged by the TSA security procedures. In the video, Savage explains how he accidentally made it through security and onto a plane with two 12-inch razorblades in his pocket. Great job, TSA!
