According to a News Market report, AOL has announced plans to relocate its corporate headquarters from Dulles, VA to New York City, and to combine its various advertising platforms into one entity.
The report said that in addition to its recent acquisitions of various ad networks, a company release indicates that these changes are part of AOL’s effort to position itself as the “world’s largest and most effective advertising network.”
It will be interesting to see how these latest moves jive with its recent mobile ad firm buys and revamp of the ad-supported AOL mobile search.
