Not to be outdone by the folks over at MySpace, AOL Music has relaunched its music site, Spinner.com, MediaPost reports; the new version offers news, videos, free MP3s, artist interviews, songs, live performances, and opinion pieces.
The new version has a revamped user interface, a more robust search feature, and a new toolbar that lets users listen to an “MP3 of the day” as well as past entries while browsing the site.
The report said that according to comScore, Spinner receives an average of over 3.4 million unique visitors a month in 2008, which is almost a 60% increase from last year’s average, and picks up about 32 million monthly page views.
