AOL’s Bebo Joins With Universal Music For ‘Sam King’

While many of Bebo’s top executives have already exited stage left, and Time Warner (its parent company) has suggested that they may have paid too much for the social networking service, Bebo announced the first lineup of artists set to feature in its new production, “The Secret World Of Sam King,” MediaPost reports. The production premiered yesterday.

“The online drama, between a social network and music company, revolves around junior ‘facilities’ employee, Sam King, who from his base at Universal Music secretly founds his own start-up label in the post room,” the report said. “The Secret World Of Sam King” will post daily 3-5 minute episodes on Bebo. The show is produced by Globe Productions, which is Universal Music UK’s production arm, in partnership with Monkey Kingdom.
