Apartment List, a San Francisco-based website dedicated to real estate listings, has introduced an iPhone app that is designed to help apartment hunters find listings on-the-go.

The app is a metasearch engine that pulls apartment rental listings from other sites into one app. All of the listings are plotted on a map of the area that you are searching. The app has more than a million listings and each listing has an average of 14.5 pictures per listing. Users can search the app by location, price or  or pet-friendliness. Then using the app, you can contact landlords for apartments that look appealing and make an appointment to see it.

The app is designed to be used on multiple devices. For instance, you can save your mobile searches and then access them again while you are visiting the website on your computer. There is also a note-taking feature so you can write down the listings that you have already contacted, as well as take notes on the features of the apartments that you have visited.
