Bankrupt MVNO Movida has been granted a new lease on life. APC Wireless has acquired the Latino-focused service provider for an undisclosed sum, Cellular-news reports.
Movida joins Liberty Wireless, which APC Wireless acquired in January, as a way to bolster the company’s MVNO strategy.
The new owner reportedly plans to keep the Movida name, service and subscriber plans as they are, but promises an improved user experience. Hopefully, for the sake of Movida’s customers, the acquisition will be enough to keep it afloat.
