App Developer Uses Trivia App To Name Baby

Joey Nelson, an app developer from Arkansas, is reaching out to users through his app to help name his baby girl.  Joey and cofounders Matt Hudson and John James, of MobileFWD, launched their trivia game app, Trivi.al, last week and new users may be surprised to find a question thrown in to the trivia mix asking what Joey should name his soon-to-be-born daughter.

The members of the MobileFWD crew are not strangers to including apps in major life events.  Last year Matt Hudson drew some attention when he proposed to his girlfriend through Words With Friends.

Joey and his wife were undecided on the name of the baby, so they decided to make it into a question, narrowing it down to four answers—Hope, Charlie, Sofia and Ellie.  It’s one of the only times that all of the answers in a trivia question are correct—they just want your opinion and the top name will be the baby’s name when she’s born this Saturday.  The baby’s middle name will be Marie.

Find out more about Trivi.al in the video below and then let us know which baby name you think Joey should pick!
