Apple’s iPhone App Refund Policies Could Bankrupt Developers
Here’s the situation:
- iPhone app customers can ask for a refund within 90 days of purchase
- The app vendor is required to refund the full purchase price
- But, Apple keeps its 30% of the initial purchase
So, the developer is left holding the bag to refund the 70% obtained during the purchase plus the 30% that Apple took but is not refunding.
Does this seem fair to you?
