
2009 isn’t over yet. But, Apple has their “Rewid 2009″ “best of” and “top sellers” listed already. You can find their list of iPhone apps here…
The “best of” and “top sellers” lists are grouped by “games” and, essentially, “everything else”. I assume that the “best selling” category is total revenue (vs. number sold) because three relatively expensive apps, MobileNavigator North America, TomTom U.S. & Canada, and Quickoffice Mobile Office Suite, are in the top 10. Both categories include very interesting looking apps. And, I have to admit that I was not even aware of many of these apps. Who knew that “The Moron Test” is among to top 10 best selling non-game apps? Certainly, not me
