Apple Reveals That iOS 7 is Coming September 18th

Apple revealed today that the new iOS 7 operating system is coming September 18th. The new platform has an updated notifications screen, along with a new feature that allows for searching in the home screen. Siri has also been improved to incorporate tweets into queries. It also has new sounds including new ringtones and new noise alerts.

The operating system also brings updates to Apple’s photo and music apps. The Photos app has a new photo organizing and sharing feature that lets you organize photos by year grouping them into moments and collections. The music app brings iTunes Radio.

Apple is also making iPhoto and iMovie free.
