Oddly enough, Apple is saying that they’re still in the process of renegotiating their contract to sell Universal Music’s catalog in the iTunes Store.
This contrasts with an earlier report that Universal declined to sign on again, leaving future digital sales at the leading online music store in doubt.
As Engadget puts it, “Now it looks as though the chips aren’t off the table, and there may be some reconciliation between the two companies — or least a few bags of money changing hands.”
