The proliferation of apps, particularly for the iPhone but other smartphone platforms as well, is apparently the cause for much annoyance to many people. People evangelizing their latest diet app via calorie counting advice, annoying sound generators and know-it-all one-upsmanship appear to be at the forefront of complaints according to this article.
