Electricpig reports that the Asus Eee PC T91, a touchscreen netbook that can convert to tablet mode, will be available in the UK next month.
Asus Eee PC T91 launching by June!
I have not seen information about U.S. availability.
The two biggest issues I’ve had with Tablet PCs are their weight and heat (the few I’ve tried got hot pretty fast). It looks like Asus’s T91 addresses the size issue. We’ll have to wait and see if the heat issue is addressed too.
Windows 7 directly integrates touchscreen support. There’s no separate Tablet PC Edition like we saw with Windows XP. So, it will be interesting to see how well Windows 7 Release Candidate deals with the T91′s touchscreen.
