AT&T and Universal Motown Records are announcing a multi-platform agreement to promote Nelly’s upcoming fifth album, Brass Knuckles, via exclusive mobile and PC content, according to FierceMobileContent.
Starting today, AT&T will launch a series of exclusive ringtones covering the complete Brass Knuckles track listing. Plus, AT&T and Napster Mobile will release four full-length mobile downloads: “Party People” (featuring Fergie), “Body on Me” (featuring Akon and Ashanti), “Stepped on My J’z” (featuring JD), and “Warrior,” the report said.
Finally, AT&T will air on September 17th (the day after the album hits stores) an exclusive Nelly live gig via its Blue Room online portal. This marks a fairly hefty PC tie in for something that’s originating from a wireless carrier, but it’s not unheard of.
