‘The Bachelor’ Tops Nielsen’s Twitter TV Rankings This Week

thebachelorThe Bachelor has topped Nielsen’s SocialGuide this week. The guide is a weekly list that highlights the top television shows that are being tweeted about week-to-week.

The Twitter TV analytics tool measures activity across 239 TV channels. SocialGuide releases a weekly Top-5 list of the television shows that are garnering the most social attention. Here is more about Nielsen’s process:

SocialGuide captures relevant Tweets from three hours before, during and three hours after an episode’s initial broadcast, local time. Unique Audience measures the audience of relevant Tweets ascribed to an episode from when the Tweets are sent until the end of the broadcast day at 5am. The data includes new/live primetime and late fringe episodes only and excludes sports events.

Vine Videos Are Now Available Online

vineVine has expanded is popular video sharing app to the web. App users can now access their profiles and the profiles that they follow online.

The company revealed the news on its blog today. Check it out: “Log in at vine.co to view your home feed and like, comment, and share videos just as you do on our mobile apps. You can also visit your favorite users’ Vine profiles to browse the videos they’ve created since joining Vine. Plus, now you can share your profile with others so they can see your posts.”

In addition, the company has added a new feature that exclusive to the web edition called TV Mode. Members can activate a button to view their collection of videos in sequence, in full screen mode.

Vine is not first to the party. Instagram revealed Web profiles back in November 2012.
