BBC Worldwide announced the creation of a BBC America channel on YouTube. The deal is part of an extension of an agreement between BBC and YouTube. Other BBC Worldwide channels are expected to be launched this year.
“This is a great way to popularize key content from BBC America, allowing users to sample our top rated shows,” said Garth Ancier, President BBC Worldwide America.
BBC already has a dedicated YouTube channels for some of its most popular shows including “Top Gear” and “EastEnders.”
