Belkin LiveAction Camera Remote for iPhone Puts “You” in the Photos & Videos You Share

iPhone owners like to share photos and videos. Charts and statistics are not needed to make this point. The problem is that the iPhone camera app does not have a timer function or remote shutter release. And, even if it did, it might be difficult to prop the iPhone up to include yourself in a photo or video. Belkin, however, has an app for that that works with hardware that should be available soon.

The Belkin LiveAction Camera Remote consists of two pieces. One is the actual Bluetooth wireless remote. The second is a stand for the iPhone. The app that enables remote photo and video recording operations is free from the App Store.

Amazon shows it as available for pre-order with a list price of $49.99 and an Amazon price of $40.30 (with free Super Saver shipping). There might be a lot more of “you” in photos and videos you share with this little accessory.
