‘Biggest Loser’ Offering Exclusive Weight-Loss Content on Pinterest

The show has launched a boards where producers are sharing more information about the exercise and nutritional tips seen on the show. The account also features before-and-after photographs of previous contestants.

The reality show has already gained more than 32,000 followers on Pinterest.

The partnership with Pinterest shows NBC’s social media savvy. Of the social networks, Pinterest has a user base in which rural, middle class women are most heavily represented. It also describes itself as a place where people can share their aspirations.

“People watch ‘The Biggest Loser’ to get inspired and that’s the same reason they come to Pinterest, making the show a perfect place for us to start,” said Barry Schnitt, Pinterest’s head of communications, in a statement.
