bliptvLogo.jpgOn the same day blip.tv announced new partnerships with YouTube, Vimeo, NBC Local Media New York and Roku, FishbowlNY took a tour of the online media company’s office in Soho.

It was a busy day for blip.tv, as the company also announced deals with TubeMogul and FreeWheel that will help independent show creators to track and monetize their content, as well as debuting a new dashboard that will allow content creators to “at a glance see all the tools they need,” blip.tv chief technology officer Justin Day told FishbowlNY.

The YouTube deal will allow show creators to send episodes directly from blip.tv to their YouTube accounts, and blip.tv can traffic advertisements on shows syndicated to YouTube, with content creators receiving a revenue share.

blip.tv chief operating officer Dina Kaplan told FishbowlNY the agreement with NBC Local Media New York will allow blip.tv shows to air on NBC’s NY Nonstop broadcast channel in New York.

As for Roku, owners of that company’s digital-video player can now watch blip.tv shows directly on their television sets.

blip.tv shows were already available through iTunes, AOL Video, MSN Video, Blinkx, Facebook, Twitter, Sony Bravia televisions with Bravia Internet Video Link, Verizon FiOS video-on-demand, the Apple iPhone and the Internet Archive.
