ContentSutra reports that Coruscant Tec, a mobile content company, has finally found a buyer in Bollywood mainstay Mukta Arts Ltd, which has agreed to pick up 51% stake in the Mumbai-based Coruscant for an undisclosed sum.

“Coruscant provided such services as bringing magazines on mobile, live streaming of content on mobile, distributing ringtones and Uncle Pai comics. The company during its peak time employed about 25 people which are now down to 10 or so, [co-founder Roy Adiseshann] said.”

So what does Mukta Arts get out of this? A platform to aid in digitizing the studio’s vast catalog of Bollywood content; the acquisition will help them get on both the regular Web as well as mobile devices, according to the article.
