Apple shipping iPhone 3GS’ resistant to jailbreaking?

This jailbreak resistance comes from a new boot ROM for the iPhone 3GS. So, jailbreaking the older iPhone (1st generation) and iPhone 3G should still be do-able.

But, as usual, when performing tasks like jailbreaking, proceed at your own risk. I’m not advising anyone to jailbreak their iPhone. And, as I said previously, I have not jailbroken my personal iPhone.
