iTunesWi-Fi.jpgThere’s almost too much for one post here. But today Apple made good on all of the rumors swirling around in the past few months.

According to PC Magazine, Apple introduced refreshed iPods (now called iPod Classic), new iPod Nanos with wider screens, a new iPod Touch model that mimics the iPhone’s look and includes Wi-Fi and the Safari Web browser, and a new iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store.

The last item is of particular note–iPhone and iPod Touch users will be able to buy any song from the iTunes Store and download it directly to their mobile device, with an extra copy later on for their desktop iTunes collection.

Finally, just to stick it to early adopters, Apple dropped the price of the iPhone by a stunning $200, to $399 for the 8GB model. The 4GB model is being discontinued, with remaining refurbished stock available at just $299.

More details as we get them.
