Canadian rocker Bryan Adams will be featured on the Monocle Weekly Summer Series starting Friday.
Adams performed a five-song acoustic set, including “Run to You” and “Walk on By,” and spoke with London restaurateur Alan Yau and Curzon Cinemas director of programming Jason Wood, telling Yau, “I’ve been here 20 years and the London restaurant scene has changed a lot. 20 years ago, you couldn’t even get decent spaghetti except in a can. It’s really come a long way. I think London could have the best restaurants and the best food in the world now. I live part-time in Paris, but Paris still has a long way to go. There’s too much cheese everywhere!”
The Monocle Weekly Summer Series is sponsored by BMW.
