Buddy Media yesterday announced the launch of a new full scale YouTube brand channel solution. According to the Buddy Media website, “ProfileBuddy, powered by Buddy Media technology, provides brands and agencies with a full-scale social marketing solution for YouTube Brand Channels. We offer the only solution that delivers unique experiences to global fans with country and language targeting capabilities.”
ProfileBuddy provides brands with a library of “sapplets” (social apps) that brands can use to customize their YouTube Brand Channels to engage with fans through more than just video content. The sapplets include a branded YouTube player, images, photo galleries, polls, product galleries, quizzes, RSS, a leaderboard of rankings based on fans’ up or down votes, and HTML.
Buddy Media Chief Executive Officer Michael Lazerow says, “It’s crucial that brands deliver the right content to the right person at the right time, and Buddy Media is the only company that can help brands across the web and now on YouTube.
