Kate Burns, European vice president and managing director for social-networking platform Bebo, is shifting over to parent company AOL to lead its European ad-sales operations, paidContent:UK reported.
Burns had basically been running Bebo since the departure of former president Joanna Shields. A successor to Burns was not named. Burns will report to head of advertising and strategy Jeff Levick at AOL.
According to paidContent:UK, Burns is replacing Platform-A international head Brendan Condon, who is moving to AOL’s New York offices in an unspecified role.
