The landscape changes almost daily; in this article, Business 2.0 reports about Verizon’s plans to go national with V CAST Mobile TV, the new broadcast service we wrote about several weeks ago. AT&T’s own live TV service will launch this coming winter.
London-based research firm Informa Telecoms & Media predicts that the global mobile TV market will expand from $2 billion and 0.4% of cellphones sold today, to $31 billion and 10% of subscribers by 2011, according to the article.
