Third-party Twitter clients HootSuite and Sobees announced improvements, while Fuze Box announced the rollout of third-party Twitter app Tweetshare.
HootSuite announced at 140: The Twitter Conference in Seattle that it will begin integrating with MySpace and foursquare this week at the South by Southwest Interactive conference, Mashable reported, adding that HootSuite recently integrated with WordPress and updated its iPhone and Android apps.
Sobees released a new version of its Windows native desktop app (pictured), built in .NET, which supports Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, FriendFeed, and LinkedIn, and which adds real-time search and drag-and-drop technology for columns, according to TechCrunch. The new app also includes the ability to preview tweets and maps, to translate messages, and to see pictures posted on TwitPic from within the tweet, as well as the ability to break out threaded conversations with friends, TechCrunch reported.
And Tweetshare allows users to immediately publish any type of content to the Web, including HD video, presentations, and images, and to automatically start Twitter conversation threads around their content, TechCrunch reported, adding that Fuze Box also rolled out a companion Tweetshare iPhone app. Tweetshare also provides measurement and analytics tools, including polling functionality and the ability for users to become fans of brands’ Tweetshare Fan Pages, according to TechCrunch.
