Buy Movie Tickets From Your Cell Phone

FierceMobileContent reports that MovieTickets.com is launching a new mobile app that lets you check movie listings, search for movie info, and buy tickets from cell phones. The application also remembers recent searches and locations so that you don’t have to keep inputting the same information each time.

The service was developed in conjunction with wireless application service provider MobileGates, according to the report. In addition to the application, there’s also the standard mobile WAP site (mobile.movietickets.com) as well as an iPhone-optimized version (iphone.movietickets.com).
