Buzzwire Teams with RooftopComedy.com for College Comedy Competition

Buzzwire and RooftopComedy.com have teamed up for the 2nd Annual RooftopComedy National College Comedy Competition. Buzzwire will provide mobile access to content from the competition, allowing viewers to watch and vote on their mobile devices for their favorite standup and sketch comedy acts. The site is live at http://m.rooftop2009.com.

This adds to Buzzwire’s list of deals in the mobile video content space, alongside a deal last year with Verizon to power their m.vcast mobile video service.

The RooftopComedy National College Comedy Competition will be visiting 32 campuses throughout the U.S. hosting stand-up comedy contests from January 29 – March 6, followed by a series of online and mobile voting rounds.
