Grab your umbrella-ella-ellas, everyone: Rihanna, who keeps raining down hits like “Umbrella” and ”Diamonds,” is now the number one artist on YouTube, ahead of teen heartthrob Justin Bieber.
According to Starcount, the singer’s official channel, RihannaVEVO, has reached more than 3.47 billion views, exceeding the number of views on Justin Bieber’s channel by a landslide.
Rihanna subsequently racked up 150 million views, knocking Bieber down to second place ahead of Eminem and Lady Gaga.
“Rihanna’s recent video ‘Stay’ may be accountable for her popularity surge, as it has amassed almost 40 million views in the last two weeks,” noted Starcount, but “with a new video soon to be released with fellow Canadian and Rihanna’s ex-boyfriend Drake, it might not be long before Bieber claims back his YouTube throne.”
