With so many smartphones available in the market right now, somehow I could understand why there still many users who would stick with the old and trusty Nokia handsets. At least Nokia is exerting all its effort to make their mobile devices, specifically smarthphones to be at par with other brands.

Nokia’s latest effort to spike interest to its smartphone product line is through the integration of Skype. Both Skype and Nokia are announcing the new Skype for Symbian app which is available for download from the Ovi Store or direct from Skype – for free. Read more

skypeOk folks, it’s officially official. The Skype iPhone app has just appeared a couple of hours ago at the iTunes Apps Store. It’s a free app, so I don’t see any reason why you wouldn’t want to install it on your iPhone. If you own an iPhone and you use Skype’s web based version, the Skype iPhone app is basically the same thing only this time, you do your Skype-ing on your iPhone instead of doing it on your PC.
