Hi ThinkMobile readers - all the great mobile apps, devices and reviews are now a part of mediabistro's SocialTimes.com. Thanks for reading!

Mediacaster Magazine reports that CBC/Radio-Canada has turned to mobile solutions provider Quattro Wireless to deliver real-time news, sports and entertainment content to Canadians via their mobile phones.

The new mobile sites, built on Quattro’s network and advertising sales service, gives CBC/Radio-Canada a new revenue stream and offers its advertisers a new way to reach local and targeted listeners.

“Consumers today increasingly look to the mobile Web to find the latest news and information,” Quattro’s VP of business development Lars Albright said of the deal. “Quattro is working with CBC/Radio-Canada to ensure that their readers have a positive mobile browsing experience where they can find all the relevant content they want on a well designed, ad-supported site.”
