CBS Mobile has partnered with Aggregate Knowledge to make it easier for readers to find the news stories they want to read on the network’s WAP site. According to News.com, Aggregate Knowledge’s technology analyzes the “click histories of every story on the site and looks at users in aggregate in order to find patterns in those clicks.” Based on what it finds, it then recommends the most relevant stories based on what “people with similar tastes are reading and clicking on.”
Initially, the article suggestions will appear in the form of “Your Headlines.” Because the recommendations are based on what is being viewed, they’ll change throughout the day as user interest shifts to new articles, CBS said.
