Cincinnati Bell Wireless has signed an agreement with PlayPhone to deliver mobile entertainment downloads to their customers, including ringtones, mobile games, and mobile video.
Customers will be able to buy new mobile content directly from their handsets or from PlayPhone’s online portal, which is located at www.playphone.com. The site also contains music files from Sony BMG and EMI, and video from Disney, Vivendi, and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
This isn’t an earth-shattering announcement. Basically it’s good news for PlayPhone, but it sits largely in the background as far as wireless subscribers are concerned.
